Benedict Alford was the oldest child of Jeremiah (Jeremy) Alford and Jane Hoskins. He was born on April 27, 1688, in Windsor, CT. On January 4, 1714, Benedict married Abigail Wilson in Windsor. Abigail was born on March 3, 1683, and was the daughter of Samuel Wilson and Mary Griffin.
