Phoebe Stockwell Burdick

Phoebe Stockwell Burdick was the mother of Phoebe Elizabeth Burdick, Charles Alford's first wife. After his mother died, David Lewis Stockwell Alford left Charles in the care of his mother-in-law, Pheobe Burdick. She raised Charles from a young boy to an adult and had great influence on his life and career.
