Appointment of Philip Hathaway as guardian of Isaac Hathaway Jr.
When Isaac Hathaway Sr. died, the only child who had legally become an adult was his oldest son, Joshua. Isaac Jr was not yet twenty-one and needed a Guardian to guide him and protect his financial interests. His mother, Rebecca, and his brother Joshua petitioned the court to appoint Philip Hathaway.
